.
My name is Roxy and I am a chocolate Labrador retriever. I live in a small canton in southern Quebec with three two cats and their Staff.
Update January 31, 2011
Last November Roxy took the test to be a therapy dog. She passed! Qualified therapy dogs can do many things; visit nursing homes, hospitals and schools. Because Roxy enjoys hanging out with little kids and thinks literacy is very important, she has chosen to be a Tail Waggin’ Tutor at the Hemmingford Elementary School here in southern Quebec. We will be setting up a new tag on the blog so people can follow our adventure. Stay tuned!

Hi Brandy,
My human recently discovered your blog which is a good thing as, it keeps her entertained and within smelling distance while I am napping after my morning walk.
Wishing you belly rubs and dead fish to roll in.
Keesha
whoops. mean to say Hi Roxy, but hello Brandy as well. (should never comment before I have had my morning kibble)

Welcome Sassy; It would be understandable if you confused Roxy and Brandy — they are both chocolate labs! 🙂
Hey Roxy,
Great blog! Just thought you might be interested in “Lost Souls: Found! Inspiring Stories of Labrador Retrievers.” Happy Tails Books just published the book to raise awareness of, and funding for Labrador rescue groups. We ship to Canada off our website without charging extra for freight. Please spread the word – a significant portion of the profits from book sales goes back to dog rescue organizations.

Kyuss and I are also from Quebec! Although, we’re in the South-West. =]
Don’t know where you have gone but I miss your posts and truly hope that all is well in your world.
Hey,
I was just browsing through your site and there were some non-working references that I ran into. For instance if you go to https://hemmingforddogblog.wordpress.com/2012/07/05/big-brother-is-watching-you/ and try to click on guilty , you’ll notice the link doesn’t send you to where it should (or am I the only one experiencing this)? There are a few more cases like this and I’d be happy to point them out if you’d like me to. I’m just letting you know because I realize how difficult it can be to find these little issues when you are busy running a website, so thought I’d help out a little bit.
Thanks for your great content,
Mark
