The groomers at Dogs Aloud in Vicarage Lane are busy saving the “trimmings”  from local dogs for their local birds.  The ladies pictured above are stuffing suet feeders with nice, clean dog fur and then hanging them (outdoors) for the birds to help themselves.

Now, instead of two bags of clippings being sent to the landfill each week people will be able to look up into their trees and see how the birds are transforming their dogs’ fur.  (I see the potential here for a walking tour of the village.  “Oh, yes, Byron’s fur makes a much better nest than that little mixed breed down the lane.”  *said with upper-crust Brit accent* )
