A rare two-year old Irish terrier named Bonham that went missing from a Kamloops, BC breeder earlier this summer has turned up at a Montana animal shelter. Back in June, when the dog went missing the owner talked about her one-of-a-kind dog:
He was bred out of frozen semen from a Swedish dog that is no longer alive,” she said, describing Bonham’s bloodline as extinct. This breeding was planned for many years and Bonham is the only puppy out of the litter of three that is in tact and can carry on these old bloodlines.
However…somewhere between British Columbia and Montana a do-gooder had the little fella neutered. 😉 So… while he is no longer “in tact”, he is definitely one-of-a-kind! (Can we blame Bob Barker?)
