Just say Joe!

Joe the Plumber is back!  Having helped John McCain win lose the US presidency, he is now in Missouri helping to keep local puppy mills open.  Yes…open.  Missouri is considered the “puppy mill capital” of the USA and the state government wants to curb the puppy mill population.  This is not a good thing according to Joe:

This bill (Prop b) is just a stepping stone. HSUS eventually wants to extend this law to ALL animals. Their idea of utopia is a United States with NO animal ownership; NO meat to eat; NO pets; NO hunting; NO fishing; NO service animals.”

This radical animal rights organization (HSUS), …is using the referendum process to slowly, systematically eliminate food production in the United States

For when regular crazy is not enough, there’s Joe.

(If he considers the Humane Society a “radical animal right organization”, wait until he meets PETA!)

Dog multi-tasks! Charges cell phone while chewing stick!

Somewhere in Switzerland – Looking for a cheap (and socially responsible) way to recharge his cell phone battery, Eric Shiegg  has come up with a  cool solar panel that attaches to his beagle’s all weather coat.  When his dog  finishes frolicking  outdoors (see video) Mr. Shiegg will once again be able to use his cell phone.  According to Mr. Shiegg,  the “solar dog” charger even works in cloudy weather.

Shiegg adds, “My Android phone is charged in no time… The dog feels good and I’m feeling good and planet mud is turned a little bit more into planet earth. But this idea would be interesting for farmers around the world, letting their animals collect electricity, too. Without the cost and waste for installation and the ground.”

Picture a herd of cows, all with little solar packs on their backs…nah…too weird a visual.
