This is my home. I used to have a regular “dog” crate, but I grew out of it. It was replaced with an iron Victorian crib found at a garage sale. A local welder (thank you Pat!) adjusted the rectangle into a polygon (6-sides) and fixed/replaced some of the broken iron work. Then, a little scraping and some paint.
It is virtually round, so we had to find a donut shaped matress. Success! A Schnoozy Bagel Bed. Amazingly, it fit perfectly into the crib. A nice washable throw, and I have a very comfortable home. And of course, no dog house would be complete without a sign…

Wow Roxy! We love your ‘dog’ home. We have boring, regular crates, but we’ve told our mum to have a look round for something a bit more classy – like yours.

ps. Palma’s Dad lives in Canada too – but right the other side of the country from you. He’s a handsome fella who came over to the UK for a short visit, and found true love, but then deserted his kids to fly back home.
Welcome to our new blog! I’m sure it will be easier to find a Victoria style home in your neck of the woods!
Re Palma’s dad — tourists are like that
